The down payment grant amount can be up to 20% of the pre-approved loan amount. Home maintenance grants are determined by verified scope of work needed. Ultimately, all grant amounts are determined by availability of funds at the time of approval.
Grant funds are wired directly to escrow at time of closing.
No, grants funds do not have to be repaid and are considered gift funds. Yay!

Are there income limits to be eligible for this grant?
There are no income limits. We believe that strong incomes should not make applicants ineligible, and instead we aim to close the wealth gap by aiding Black and Hispanic people to own homes. As such, we do not have income restrictions, we have asset restrictions.
What does my lender need to know?
While we are happy to work with all lenders, it is important that they accept our grant. Please contact us at info@greenlinehousing.org, and we will provide you with a document to share with your lender to ensure that they agree to the conditions of our grant before you apply.
When can I apply?
Interested applicants can join our waitlist here. When the next application cycle opens on either March 1, June 1, September 1, or December 1, you will be sent a personalized application link to submit the required information and documents.
How long do I have to use the grant?
Grant recipients have 6 months from the date of the awarded grant to use their grant.
