Alysa

Native Georgian active in her community becomes a homeowner.

Alysa

Alysa was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and still calls the peach state her home. She works at a local hospital as a Senior Employment Recruiter and is actively engaged in her community through the arts, sports, and church. Additionally, she’s an avid baker and started her own baking business. She has seen firsthand the value of homeownership as both her grandparents and parents are homeowners. However, with rising costs in the Atlanta area, the barrier to entering the market and becoming a homeowner is that much harder. That’s when Greenline stepped in to help Alysa with a down payment grant so she could buy her first home.

She says, “Homeownership to me represents stability, independence, and the opportunity to build a foundation for the future. It’s more than just having a space to call my own—it’s about creating a place where memories are made, dreams are nurtured, and a sense of belonging is fostered… Owning a home represents carrying on a family legacy while creating one of my own for future generations.
