When she was two years old Bridgette’s family moved from Compton to Altadena with the help of a down payment from her grandmother. Her parents purchased a home, grandmother moved in with them, and years later Bridgette would purchase the home, continue to make improvements to it, and welcome her children and grandchildren to live in the home as well. Then on January 7, 2025 the Eaton Fire ignited, destroying thousands of structures including Bridgette’s family home.
