Kelvin was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. At an early age his father was killed by gun violence right in front of their home. But Kelvin overcame the odds and became a police officer in Baltimore where he has served for the past 15 years. He recently received a downpayment grant from Greenline and purchased a home in the Baltimore area. Kelvin says, “After everything I’ve been through, having a home of my own would show my kids that no matter where you start, you can still build something strong and lasting.”
